More often than not, what we are trying to heal from the outside needs healing from the inside. The root of your dandruff might be internal, and consuming more probiotics might do the trick for you. Probiotics strengthen our immune system, which in turn allows our body to fight off fungal infections that cause dandruff. Although stress does not directly correlate to dandruff, it might be a viable reason for dandruff that you can consider. Stress can cause both mental and physical deterioration. Although there are many more remedies like buying over-the-counter dandruff shampoo or getting medical help from professionals, the condition does not subside. But the home remedies are worth a shot. It would be advised to visit a doctor if dandruff persists despite applying these methods.
